The Super Imposed Visions series is shot all with 35mm film cameras, using nothing but natural light with minimal retouching and then color corrected in Lightroom. This series started as an escape from digital technology and back to the craft of pre-visualizing an image. Which meant going back to shooting with film cameras and double exposing the negative to a mixture of images. This way of working had a positive impact on my art, I started looking beyond the obvious image to produce works that have renewed my passion for photography and feeds my need to create works of art. I also discovered I could finally create images in my mind’s eye without the help of the digital medium and it felt very liberating.
